This is a gameplay video for Ninja Noboken.
A two years solo indie developer journey to make and deliver the game, heavily inspired by old classics like Mortal Kombat, Ninja Gaiden, Dragons Lair, and a few more.
A 2.5D perspective with glorious backgrounds and remixed soundtracks of the old classic NES game.
Fatalities and 2D animations are some new additions to our childhood memories.

I loved this game on the NES it introduced me to my first peptic ulcer at 11 years old and graduated to bleeding ulcer from teenage mutant ninja turtles, finished with some psychosis from goonies 2 …..😂 If you know you know👍

This is amazing. I love how fans are able to reboot these nostalgic games.
It does look cool but just tried the demo, control needs some serious polishing, it isn't that it is bad, but I have played similar games that do it a lot better, like oblivion overdrive or Mira, there are others but only recently Ive been exploring the wonderful world of platformers.
Watching this gave me PTSD with those God damned cheap ass bats and how every time you get hit you get pushed back.

As i said before, this is great, but one question: Why is our hero called Kenji, instead of Ryu Hayabusa(sp?)? Is that the original Japanese version name?

Yeah… the screensaver on the field is clumsy and pathetic, the main character Ryu was given a different face, as if he has Down syndrome, the face of an idiot… the gameplay itself… Ryu doesn't run like a fighter, ready for a furious attack, but runs with his head down, face down on the asphalt, like beaten losers run, who were beaten by hooligans and they run home to cry… it's better to replay on the Dendy than this crap!

SO WHEN NINTENDO, SEGA, SUPERNINTENDO, SEGA GENESIS, NEO GEO AND FEW OTHER NOT SO POPULAR SYSTEMS EMERGED. GAMES LIKE NINJA GAIDEN (ALSO AT THE ARCADEDS, WASHING TERIAS {LAUNDRY MAT}, GAS STATIONS, DOLLAR MOVIE THEATRES AND REGULAR MOVIE THEATRES} WE WERE IN TOTAL AWE CLIMING AROUND LIKE THE AMAZING SPIDERMAN AND HIS AMAZING FRIENDS AND FIGHTING LIKE THE AMERICAN NINJA MOVIES, NINJA GAIDEN STOOD OUT AS A LEGITE NINJA GAME.

ABOUT AS COOL AS THE COLLAB GAME BATTLE TOADS WITH TMNT (TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES). JUST TOO COOL.
