I know it's not everyone's bag but I liked Wrath of the Black Manta. I enjoyed the last ninja I know how people feel about this second one it's not as good as the c64 version but it's a guilty pleasure for me regardless on nes. Also Zen: Intergalactic Ninja that one was a pretty fun one that was a late nes game release in the nes console's life cycle but it was really well designed plus had a cool comic book series too boot. Another fun one I enjoyed was Little Ninja Brothers. Another one I enjoyed was Kid Niki Radical Ninja. One more series I enjoy is ganbare goemon a tricky journey I recommend it. Also some others even though they are next NES but are from the same series if any of you haven't played the others try The Legend of the Mystical Ninja for the Super NES, Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon and Goemon's Great Adventure for the Nintendo 64 and two titles for the Game Boy plus the later ones on mobile phones and the one on DS you can find English patched versions online worth trying them all at least once.
I remember a ninja/samurai game on nes when i was a kid, i try to find it, but i only remember that the ninja had a skill to have a clone above him.I can't find the name sadly , it' s not ninja gaiden 2.
Always great to get another video out of you will. If you were a kid in the 80's we had the luxury of growing up around a lot of great ninja goodness. The nes definitely did a good job of milking all that great video game ninja madness and it definitely made for some of the best games ever made for that system.
Shadow of the Ninja is so good, and such a tough challenge! What movie clip is right before TMNT?! lol that was ridiculous! I agree on TMNT, it had more to offer than the beat em ups.

Gotta give Kage a chance. I remember not being impressed the first time I saw it as a kid, so I've ignored it ever since.

Yea Ninja Gaiden is totally bas ass! What about Kabuki Quantum Fighter, does that qualify?
